Don't forget to mark your calendars for my first show of the year! All the details are on the events page, but as a reminder:    Benefit Fundraiser - You Jump I Jump; Saturday, Sept. 15; Growlers Beer Bistro; 25 Main St., Tuckahoe, NY; event time 1-5pm, I'm playing 2-4pm.

I'll be playing two 40-minute sets with a mixture of well known covers and originals. It's shaping up to be a giant sing-along!

To make sure this show is as great as it cam be, print out the flyer above and hand it out to friends and family. The more people who attend, the bigger the collective donation to You Jump I Jump can be!

I will donate 30% of all profits from the sale of my merch at the benefit. I accept ALL major credit cards along with cash.

I'll be playing a benefit show for the launch of a great organization called You Jump I Jump. The event is on Saturday, September 15 and it starts at 1pm and goes until 5pm. It's going to be held at Growlers Beer Bistro in Tuckahoe, NY. I'll be performing from 2-4pm. As usual, a solo acoustic performance, but I'll be throwing a bunch of covers into the mix. Enough for at least another 10 Under Covers Series episodes.

First: The Panamoka Sessions are coming along very slowly. It'll be a 5 song EP of all new music that's completely FREE when you add your email to my mailing list. You'll be emailed a password that's valid for 48-hours and a link where you can download the music. If I already have your email on my list, you will have to resubmit your email to obtain a password. I'm in the demo phase but am hoping to have it finished by the end of the year.

Last: Shows. As of right now I have no shows scheduled because I am trying to put a band together. However, even when I do have a band ready I will still do my solo acoustics every once in a while. My goal is to play 6 shows before 2013. And if you're looking to start a band get in touch with me HERE!

It's been a while since i posted a new UCS video. The difficulties I'm having is basically my camera died and I have to get a new one. I don't know what happened but the thing just won't turn on. I've changed the batteries, I've taken out the SD card, I've changed the SD card. I don't know what else to do! Any suggestions?

Once I get a new camera there will be three episodes of UCS three Thursdays in a row. The upcoming songs are:

1- Dreaming With A Broken Heart ~ John Mayer
2- Ironic ~ Alanis Morrisette
3- Hide And Seek ~ Imogene 

This is everything a demo should be - its rough, the vocals are pitchy, time isn't really kept but it sets the groove and gets the general idea across. It's so new, I almost forgot the words when I was recording vocals! It's such a rough cut because I recorded it after traveling on a train for 8 hours. Piano and one vocal track was more than I had energy for, but I was so excited to lay down new material that I didn't want to wait!

This is unlike anything I've written before and the final version is going to be kickass! It'll have drums, synths, horns - the works! It seems like a sign of songs to come. Most of what I have been writing lately has had a higher energy to it than my past songs. I really like the direction my writing has taken and I definitely plan on exploring it much more.

Have no fear, the red hippo isn't going anywhere! This is a new logo that represents just me. The red hippo is a dual-logo for RedHippo Productions as well as Kerri McLoone.

The best part is that it was done with my new iPad! Using a free doodle app, a calligraphy pen tip, a color selection and my finger.One of my favorite things to do is doodle, so finding a free app with tons of brushes, pens and spray paint selections, is like a gold mine to me!Eventually, I plan on designing some KM t-shirts, stickers, flyers and maybe even album covers!

I've done backgrounds for my iPad and iPhone, plus I've done customs phone backgrounds for friends. My job is so slow and boring that perhaps I'll do a Doodle Album Line for all of my albums - past, present and future.

The first 2 episodes have just been posted on my YouTube and on the U.C.S. page!!!

The audio is up for streaming - plus I've put the originals up for streaming as well, so you can compare.

Episodes 1&2 will be posted right away. At least 1 of the remaining episodes will be posted every 2 weeks. Minimum of 5 episodes, maximum of 13.

The videos will always be available on the Under Covers page. Plus the audio from the entire season will be up for streaming as well!!

As if that wasn't news enough - today was my last day in my brace!! Which was really good timing because last night it ripped!

I sent a very unpleasant email to the manufacturer and they are going to send me a replacement. Now that is good customer service! Even though I'm done wearing the brace, I need the replacement because I'll have to wear it once I start playing drums again - can't wait to play drums!!
